Private Lessons and Critiques
Over zoom or in person in my private studio in Seattle, I will work with you and develop a tailored lesson plan to help you improve your skills and achieve your artistic goals. Through a combination of demos, critiques, mentorship, and assignments, I break things down in a clear manner that will allow you to see consistent and measurable progress.
Critiquing your own work is one of the most difficult things to do. Whether you’re a beginner student or an experienced artist, you can book a critique and mentorship session anytime you feel you could benefit from constructive feedback and a roadmap for how to make improvements. Some of the things I look for when critiquing are composition, drawing, value, form, edges and paint handling, color harmony, initial concept and intention, and process and technique.
